PRIVATE NATIONALISM

The aim of this Exposition within the OSTRALE is the creative discussion with nationalistic prejudices, as well as the formation of a long-term cooperation between curators and institutions which will produce seven more exhibitions.

In recent years, an increasing number of works of art have emerged that focus on nationalistic tendencies in Europe. As such, the main emphasis will be placed on the presentation of contemporary Roma artists of the V4 countries.

A team of curators from seven different countries is developing an exhibition series to take place in seven locations (Pécs, Debrecen, Prague, Kosice, Krakow, Dresden and Berlin) starting on the 21st of February in Prague.
